  • Junior PHP Developer - Backend :

    Back-end Developers create, code, and improve the server, server-side applications, and databases that, when combined with front-end codes, help create a functional, seamless experience for the end-user. They study industry trends, create or improve back-end processes and codes, and work with others to design a better program.

  • Duties And Responsibilities:
    • Developing internal and external REST APIs .
    • Engineering product data management and processing systems .
    • Utilizing a modern PHP stack that includes Laravel, AWS, and Forge .
    • Completing high impact front-end initiatives in collaboration with UX and Product teams .
    • Exposure to JavaScript, specifically jQuery .
    • Fluency with PHP, especially utilizing objects and design patterns .
    • Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
    • Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
    • Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
  • Minimum qualifications :

    Bachelor's degree in computer science.

    2+ years of professional experience in PHP/MySQL development.

    Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS

  • Core Competency Requirements :
    • Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic.
    • Work with a large arsenal of open source and cutting-edge technologies such as Node.js, Angular.js, MySQL, Docker, RabbitMQ and Redis.
    • Research, evaluate and analyze technical and design requirements.
    • Develop additional server level functionality and tools using a .NET language (C# preferred).
    • Incorporate standards-based development processes for website and web/mobile applications.
    • Delivering programming commitments on time and produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
